British Columbia issued 372 Invitations to Apply for Permanent Residence in the first BC PNP draw of 2024 on January 10.
The year’s first round of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) included targeted and general BC PNP draws.
BC PNP General Draw invited 110 candidates across BC PNP Entry Level, Semi-skilled, Skills Immigration, and Express Entry streams. The BC PNP Targeted draws considered profiles under (NOC 42202) Early Childhood Educators’ Assistants.
The new Category-based BC PNP draw invited 74 candidates with experience across 25 construction occupations and 75 candidates in 39 healthcare-associated occupations. These are the minimum scores under various BC PNP draws on January 10, 2024:
BC PNP General Draw- 120 points
BC PNP Category-based Draw for construction occupations: 75 points
BC PNP Category-based draw for childcare occupations: 60
BC PNP Category-based draw for healthcare occupations- 60
