The year’s first Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) draw invited 1,032 candidates on May 3, 2023.
Saskatchewan conducted its first Expression of Interest draw of the year on May 3, 2023, inviting 1,032 candidates across various streams of the SINP. Candidates with Education Credential Assessment (ECA) received Invitations to Apply. The following are a few highlights of the draw.
SINP Express Entry stream
The Expression of Interest draw invited 739 candidates through the Express Entry stream of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program. The minimum CRS score requirement was 68 points.
SINP Occupation in-demand stream
Saskatchewan issued 293 invitations to candidates under the occupations in demand category of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program. The CRS cut-off for the draw was 68 points.
Saskatchewan provincial immigration
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) aims to attract investors, skilled workers, and entrepreneurs to settle in the province. The SINP operates multiple immigration streams in collaboration with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Saskatchewan Experience stream
International skilled worker stream
Agricultural worker stream
Each SINP stream mandates specific eligibility criteria and requires candidates to submit an Expression of Interest application to receive SINP points after the eligibility assessment. Eligible candidates receive an invitation to apply for nomination and subsequent approval of permanent residence by the Canadian federal government.
