Recent Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) Draws Invite Over 1,700 Candidates

Ontario conducted back-to-back rounds of invitations for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, issuing 1,706 invitations.

The latest Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program draws targeted Human Capital Priorities (HCP) and Entrepreneur streams.

OINP Entrepreneur stream

Ontario conducted the year’s fifth Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) draw on September 25, 2023. The OINP draw issued ten invitations to eligible candidates having scores between 136 and 163. The OINP stream is among Ontario’s business immigration pathways, allowing foreign entrepreneurs to establish and develop businesses in Ontario. Ontario nominates the successful candidates for permanent residency.  

OINP Human Capital Priorities stream

Ontario held the year’s tenth round of invitations under the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream on September 26, 2023, inviting 1,696 candidates. The draw selected candidates with active Express Entry profiles having CRS scores between 350 and 462 points. The OINP draw for the Human Capital Priorities stream targeted the following healthcare occupations:

Family physicians and general practitioners – NOC 31102

Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses – 31301

Nursing coordinators and supervisors – NOC 31300

Licensed practical nurses – NOC 32101

Nurse Aides, orderlies, and patient service associates- NOC 33102

The Human Capital Priorities Program comprises a broad spectrum of immigration streams to bridge labor market gaps in Ontario. OINP HCP stream focuses on a candidate’s work experience, language skills, and education.
