Quebec’s Regular Skilled Worker Program Draw Invited 1,210 Candidates for Permanent Residence

The latest Regular Skilled Worker Program draw issued 1,210 invitations to candidates scoring a minimum of 609 points on the selection grid.

The Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration (MIFI) of Quebec held a new RSWP draw on November 16, 2023. Aspiring immigrants should qualify for the following eligibility criteria for selection:

At least level 7 oral proficiency in the French language

Scoring not less than 609 points on the selection grid

Valid job offer from an employer outside the Montreal metropolitan area  

Quebec holds regular invitation rounds to select candidates for addressing its labor market needs. Candidates with skills matching the in-demand occupations and fulfilling other criteria for the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP).

Process to apply for RSWP stream

Indicating interest to immigrate to Quebec while creating an Express Entry profile is necessary if a candidate is applying through the Express Entry selection process. Quebec mandates a minimum level 7 oral proficiency in French while submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile.

 The selection grid evaluates factors like the candidate’s age, French language skills, education, and work experience for ranking. Candidates with the highest ranks in the EOI draw, receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence in Quebec.
