On April 20, 2023, Prince Edward Island and Manitoba held new PNP draws to invite candidates across various streams.
PEI PNP Draw
Prince Edward Island operates its provincial nominee program to attract entrepreneurs and skilled workers through several streams with specific eligibility criteria and requirements. Candidates should submit their profile as an Expression of Interest to receive a particular points score. Top-scoring candidates receive Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through periodic PEI PNP draws.
Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee draw conducted its sixth PNP invitation round as per the PEI PNP schedule. The April 20 PEI PNP draw witnessed an uptick in the Labor and Express Entry invitations. The draw issued 189 invitations across the Express Entry and Business Work Permit streams of the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).
The PEI PNP draw invited nine Business Work Permit stream candidates with a minimum CRS score of 72. A total of 180 candidates received invitations under the Express Entry stream.
Manitoba PNP Draw
The latest Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program (MPNP) draw invited 507 candidates on April 20. The Expression of Interest draw focused on Skilled Worker Overseas, Skilled Worker Manitoba, and International Education streams.
The Occupation-Specific MPNP draw for Skilled Workers in Manitoba invited 249 candidates with a CRS cut-off of 615 points. The draw issued 63 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to occupations in sales and service and 64 LAAs to customer and personal service occupations and sales representatives.
The All Occupations draw issued 194 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to candidates having minimum ranking scores of 651 points. The International Education stream of MPNP invited 38 candidates.
The Skilled Worker Overseas processed 26 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to candidates having the lowest cut-off score of 719 points.
