Ontario Issues Invitations to Apply for Permanent Residence in a New Express Entry Draw

The latest Ontario Express Entry draw invited 2,583 candidates for permanent residency on March 1, 2024.

A new Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) Express Entry invitation round selected 2,583 candidates with valid Express Entry profiles under the skilled trades stream. The CRS score requirement for the draw was between 350 and 424 points.

The Ontario Express Entry draws on March 1, 2024, issued 2,583 PR invitations to Express Entry candidates with experience across 49 skilled trade occupations. The NOCs included crane operators, contractors and supervisors, aircraft mechanics, and industrial electricians. Selected candidates did not need a separate Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) profile.

Candidates having valid Express Entry profiles and a skilled work experience of a minimum of one year in select occupations are eligible for selection under the OINP Skilled Trades stream. Ontario looks for eligible candidates meeting the requirements of its Express Entry-managed streams in the pool of Express Entry profiles regularly.

Successful candidates having active Express Entry profiles receive notifications and invitations in their official IRCC accounts. They get 45 days to apply for permanent residence with complete applications.
