On July 25, Ontario issued 95 Notifications of Interest under its Express Entry stream of the French-Speaking Skilled Worker program.
The lowest CRS cut-off for the latest Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program round of invitations under the Express Entry-linked stream of the French-Speaking Skilled Worker program was 321 points. Eligible candidates with work experience in National Occupation Classification’s TEER categories 0, 1, 2, and 3 received invitations to apply for permanent residency in Ontario.
These are the main eligibility requirements for Ontario’s Express Entry-linked Francophone Skilled Worker stream:
At least one year of full-time work experience in TEER categories 0, 1, 2 and 3
Education up to bachelor’s or master’s degree, or PhD
Keen to live in Ontario
The French-Speaking Skilled Worker draw required candidates to have active Express Entry profiles within the last year and minimum French language proficiency of CLB 7. The Federal Skilled Worker program also mandates a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark level 6 in English.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) operates an Expression of Interest system to nominate qualifying candidates for permanent residence in the province. Ontario issues Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to the candidates in the Express Entry pool through its Expressions of Interest pool. The candidates should submit a Permanent Residence application within 60 days of receiving a Notification of Interest.
