Ontario Holds Back-to-Back OINP Draws to Invite 1000 Candidates

Ontario conducted three consecutive Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) draws to invite 1000 candidates on June 20, 2023.

The latest Ontario Immigrant Nominee draws targeted several occupations to select candidates for Invitations to Apply (ITAs)for provincial nomination. The number of different occupations was:

Skilled Trades Occupations – 54

Healthcare Occupations – 42

In-demand Occupations – 22

These are the highlights of the latest Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program draw.

OINP Foreign Worker Stream

The first draw for the Foreign Worker Stream issued 426 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates having minimum scores of 36 and above. The OINP Foreign Worker stream draw targeted 54 skilled Trades occupations.

The second OINP Foreign Skilled Worker draw targeted 42 healthcare occupations, inviting 318 candidates having minimum scores of 33 points.

OINP In-demand Skills Stream  

Ontario conducted the third draw for In-demand Skills stream to focus on 22 in-demand occupations under TEER 4 and 5 categories. The In-demand Skills draw invited 256 candidates having minimum scores of 26 and above. Ontario selects candidates for provincial nomination through regular draws to boost the immigration of skilled workers to the province. Candidates can explore the opportunity to work and settle in Ontario. The province welcomes and supports new immigrants by providing help for settlement to streamline their integration into the province.
