On May 5, 2023, Ontario held its PNP draw, inviting 1,863 candidates under the Human Capital Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
The latest OINP draws on May 5 set a record for the highest number of Notifications of Interest (NOIs) in a single draw. Ontario targeted Tech workers under Ontario’s Human Capital Priority Stream. The OINP draw considered candidates having CRS scores between 475 and 482.
Candidates having work experience in the following occupations received NOIs:
Computer and Information Systems managers – NOC 20012
Data Scientists – NOC 21211
Database Analysts and Data Administrators – NOC 21223
Computer systems developers – NOC 21230
Software engineers and designers – NOC 21231
Software developers and programmers – NOC 21232
Web designers – NOC 21233
Web developers and programmers – NOC 21234
Computer engineers – NOC 21311
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program requires candidates to have an education up to a bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark of 7 to be eligible for selection. Candidates with active Express Entry profiles and intention to settle in Ontario (or in All Provinces and Territories)were eligible for the OINP draw. They are required to satisfy eligibility criteria under the Canadian Experience Class or Federal Skilled Worker categories of the Express Entry.
