The latest Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) and Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) draws issued 3,486 invitations to apply for permanent residence to eligible candidates.
OINP Skilled Trades draw
The Skilled Trades Draw under Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program issued 2,844 invitations for provincial nominations to candidates with active Express Entry profiles on August 3, 2023. The Skilled Trades draw selected candidates who submitted online Express Entry profiles from August 3, 2022, to August 3, 2023.
OINP Skilled Trades draw invited Express Entry profiles across 46 occupations. The draw considered candidates with CRS scores between 250 and 516 points. Provincial nomination adds 600 points to the CRS scores of these candidates, enhancing the likelihood of receiving Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence through regular Express Entry draws. This year, Ontario invited 7,512 candidates with active Express Entry profiles until now.
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)
On August 16, 2023, Saskatchewan conducted the latest invitation round under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, inviting 642 candidates to apply for permanent residence. The SINP draw selected candidates living in several countries, including India. The CRS cut-off for the SINP draw was only 60 points, equaling the qualifying points for submitting the Expression of Interest profile for the SINP.
