The latest Ontario and British Columbia PNP draws on August 1, 2023, invited nearly 1040 candidates under general and targeted streams of provincial immigration.
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)
Ontario held three invitation rounds of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program to issue 840 Invitations to Apply (ITAs)for permanent residency. The OINP General Draw invited 755 candidates under the Master’s Graduate Stream. The CRS cut-off was 46 points. The Ph.D. Graduate stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program sent out 84 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates with minimum CRS scores of 39 and above. The draw for Employer Job Offer – Foreign Worker Stream issued one ITA to a candidate with a CRS score of 36 points.
British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)
The August 1, BC PNP Targeted Draws processed nearly 200 ITAs, qualifying the candidates for permanent residency. The Express Entry and BC PNP’s Skills Immigration streams selected 132 profiles for Invitations to Apply (ITAs). The BC PNP targeted draw for Early Childhood Educators and Assistants issued 39 Invitations to Apply. The draw selected 39 candidates under healthcare occupations, besides less than five candidates in Animal Health and Veterinary occupations.
