The latest provincial nomination draw by Manitoba invited 400 candidates to apply for permanent residence on November 2, 2023.
Manitoba leverages the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)to attract skilled immigrants and international graduates. Provincial immigration is a significant resource for Manitoba for bridging labor market gaps and meeting the province’s demographic needs.
The November 2 Draws focused on MPNP streams of Skilled Worker Overseas, International Graduates, and Skilled Worker in Manitoba.
Manitoba holds regular Expression of Interest (EOI) draws to nominate the most eligible profiles for permanent residence.
The draw for Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream issued 204 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates having a minimum score of 785 points. The International Education stream selected 131 candidates to apply for permanent residence.
The EOI draw on November 2, 2023, invited 65 candidates under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. The cutoff for the draw was 708 points. The draw also issued invites to 60 candidates with active Express Entry profiles.
Manitoba is holding frequent invitation rounds to boost the immigration of skilled immigrants. Creating an Expression of Interest profile is the primary step to qualify for the invitation round of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. The EOI system ranks candidates by assessing various eligibility criteria like age, education, work experience, and adaptability.
