British Columbia’s Fourth PNP Draw Invites 168 Candidates across sub-New Skills Immigration Categories

British Columbia conducted the new Skills Immigration draw on April 25, targeting candidates across Healthcare, Childcare, and Tech categories.

The Category 1 Targeted Draw for Tech issued 113 invitations to Skilled Workers and International Graduates. The minimum CRS score was 90 points.

The Category 2 Targeted Draw of Childcare and Healthcare streams of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) invited 28 candidates from the Skilled Workers and International Graduates stream. The CRS cut-off was 60 points.

BC PNP Healthcare draw invited 27 Skilled Workers and International Graduates with a minimum CRS score of 60 points.

British Columbia Skills Immigration

The Skills immigration category of BC PNP aims at attracting semi-skilled and skilled workers across British Columbia’s high-demand occupations under five sub-categories.

Workers in specific occupations with a job offer from a British Columbia employer can choose Entry level and Semi-skilled sub-category of BC PNP Skills Immigration. The Skilled Worker sub-category targets skilled workers with post-secondary education with relevant work experience.

The sub-category of International Graduates enables international graduates with a job offer from a British Columbia employer. A job offer from a BC employer and a post-graduate or doctoral qualification from a British Columbia Designated Learning Institution are eligible to apply under the International Post-graduate sub-category. The healthcare professionals’ sub-category enables healthcare workers with relevant work experience across designated healthcare occupations.
